The Trust supports meritorious students with awards and cash prizes. The annual “Sri Kandaswamy Pillai and Smt. Savithramma Memorial Academic Excellence Awards” encourage deserving students of ZP High School in Kalepalle to become nation-builders.
This award is named in memory of Late Sri K Kandaswamy Pillai and Late Smt K Savithramma, the guiding light for the family running the trust.
Sri Kandaswamy Pillai and Smt. Savithramma Memorial Academic Excellence Awards: 2024-25
On June 23, 2025, Pillayar Public Welfare Trust presented Sri Kandaswamy Pillai and Smt. Savithramma Memorial Academic Excellence Awards to the meritorious students of Zilla Parishad High School Kalepalle. This award was instituted in the academic year 2023-24 and continued for second year in a row.
Students of Class III to X who secured the first, second and third positions in their classes based on their academic performance during the academic year 2024-25 were felicitated during the event on 23rd June 2025. The meritorious Students of class III to class VII were awarded with Medals, Certificates of merit and Cash prizes. Similarly, meritorious students of class VIII to class X were awarded with trophies, Certificates of merit and Cash prizes. A total of 24 students along with their parents received these awards in the presence of their fellow students.
The ceremony also recognised the invaluable contributions of the school’s teaching and non-teaching staff for their dedication to enhancing student academic performance. Additionally, the school management felicitated trust members for their ongoing support in advancing educational initiatives.
